It has been so long since the last time I blogged. First of all, happy new year 2012.

Life is so busy since I went back to school at University of Michigan. It is such a blessing to be in the Michigan system, I have been learning so much, honestly, it was way more learning experience in comparison to NYU I attended before.

Right now, I am doing a post doc didactic and research in dental specialty program.

Off to go now.. will continue later.

University of Michigan Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.
Our Orthodontics clinic which also treat cranio-facial cases, having fundraising for the patients of cranio-facial clinic and all of us. Tomorrow in Lansing, we are all going to go to see the baseball game followed by food and fireworks.
I would bring the kids with me, the kids will be dropped off at dental school and I will tag them along with me and my classmates to Lansing. This will be a lot of fun. The kids are ready with their M hats, I got M Orthodontics t-shirt with the hat... I am so proud to be part of this awesome program. Dr. Kelly the chair of cranio-facial is just pure awesome.

School is great. I learn so much. Today we had lunch and learn and I made Indonesian soto ayam for the whole class. Glad they liked it.
The kids adjusted very well, maybe because when I am home, I really put my whole love towards them.
I am working on 2 research topics and these will be exciting.

I am so blessed that U of Michigan environment is so positive, everyone respects each other.

This year seem to be my best year... on my birthday, got ipad 2, iphone, beautiful cake, beautiful pop cakes, very personal pendant from hubby with all our birth stones on it, all from my loving friends and family.
One thing that I really want, is finally came through.

Yes, I got accepted at the orthodontics program at University Of Michigan, rank 3 of the best dental schools in the nation after UT and UNC. Wow! I am so excited... and of course, now that I am starting school on tuesday, right after fourth of july, we have to really look for full time nanny for our kids... There is a very mix feeling towards this, being a full time mom to don't know how much time I have for the kids, really kills me, we went on vacation, when I found out from the email that I got accepted, I cuddled my kids as if I would never seen them anymore... my eyes were open more to see them grow up to be very good kids, well mannered, and very friendly. We got lots of compliments towards their behavior from strangers during our vacation.

I love my family a lot, it will be a hard life during my schooling, but it will be paid back... I promised my daughter for a horse, and time will come that she will get one and of course, fulfill our dreams to help people around the worlds with our extra money we earned... wish us luck...

I bumped into my very old beautiful memories of my childhood and my father. He was a very active businessman, actively in organization.
As far as I remember during my childhood, he always traveling, at least 4 times a month, it means he traveled every week. Besides working on his own companies, he also actively in the organization. He has permanent office there for 15 years as general secretary and executive director of this organization.

Now that I see the address on the webpage and the logo, the memories of my childhood came fresh in my mind, I used to be very excited to pick him up at the office, in this organization and had him in the car together, going home, from tanah abang to menteng, it was not a long drive, but I adored my dad, and I enjoyed every minute riding in the car with him.

He traveled so much, checking the docks around the country, from Aceh till Irian Jaya, conferences in Asia and Europe, I used to be so excited when he travels because he would give us a piece of paper, and we all wrote down what we want, and he would make every effort to fulfill our 'orders'.

Pak Dul, the driver, wow, he worked with us since I was a baby until my father passed away, when I was in the second year dental school. He was a good driver.

How could be, the memories, can be so fresh in my mind after 33 years ?

Now, I realized, life is so fragile, we had lost 2 of our family member, my father and my brother. I love you all.
